An exercise I often do to help make my dreams a reality is to brain dump how I would like to be and what I would like to have and do. A few years ago I did this exercise with a friend and we said we’d be the 'Dream Keepers' for each other.
Recently I had a look at what I’d written and at first I just looked at all the ‘stuff’ I hadn’t done. Umm, not very inspiring! I think it’s all too easy to focus on the negative at first. To remedy this I went through and highlighted all the things I had achieved, quite a lot as it turned out and that made me feel very good indeed! I now know that I make 'dream time' into 'real time', which makes a difference because instead of just wishing for things to change, I know I have the power, and take the necessary action, to change my life for the better.

Make a note to look at it in, for example, a year’s time. You choose the time frame that feels right for you.
