"A true friend is one who knows all about you and who chooses to love you
just the same."

This Sunday, August 1st, is 'International Friendship Day' so what better time to celebrate a friend.
The following are just a few ideas that sprung to mind when I thought about how I could celebrate my friends. Why not make your own list or take one idea and play with it, see what you come up with.
- Write a letter or card telling them how much their friendship means to you. Give examples to show just how important they are in your life.
- Pick up the telephone and give someone a call that you haven't spoken to in a while.
- Buy some flowers with a personal message attached.
- Make something for them e.g. a card or friendship band, necklace.
- Print off your favourite photo of you and your friend and write a lovely message on the back.
- Make a CD of tunes that represent great memories of times together.
- Make a friendship token (this could be anything you like, in the past I've made a keyring with a bead or token that reminded me of my friend). Just be as creative as possible!
- Invite friends over for a special friendship meal/drink - have their favourite food/drink in, make a friendship cake, get sparklers, put some balloons up, make it as fun as possible.
- Write a poem!
- Plan some special time out with your friend(s) e.g. a Spa break, shopping trip, cinema, (something you haven't done together for a while).
Warmest
wishes,
Zoë
And to you, my lovely friend. Have missed our runs, look forward to seeing you soon. Lots of love, traceyx

A true friend is forever a friend. They are with friends -- the people with whom we often share our deepest thoughts.
